Where is a good place to golf in Maui?

Question

I'm going to Maui in June and looking for any suggestions for where to golf. I am an amateur and not looking for a challenge, just a nice course, with hopefully somewhat forgiving fairways. Also, if anyone has suggestions on how to get good deals on tee fees while we are there cause I would like to golf 2 or 3 times each at a different spot.

Many places are very windy on Maui. Wailea especially and if you dont mind the sand blowing at you after paying 150 a round you need to look at other locations. My favorite was in kaanapali. Small greens for a semi private course but its nice and it was reasonable. It has availability to the public. There is one I did play many times, Just ask the locals who play. They will point you in the right direction. Its windy and there are probably about 60% blind shots so you MUST play it more then once to score. but after you get the wind and the course its great. very reasonable too when I went. its not a short course by any means so you will get your moneys worth. I think thats the county course. While not pristine it's far better the most  public courses and you can get in 3 or 4 rounds for under the price of say Kapalua and save that for the big day if you like. have fun!

I'd say that anywhere in Maui is a good place to play golf!
