I'm looking for these traits for a place to live:

USA or Global

Good moderately to low(1,000) population

Near a clean beach with blue, green. turquoise or emerald clear water

Decent economic standards (I currently live in Dallas, TX)

Layed-back community for the most part

Simple life

Walking distance for most part or scooter/golf cart but possibly near(within 40 minutes) a more developed area.

I'm not interested in becoming a corporate mogul. I want to find good local people to hang out with, a beach to admire and participate in boating activities, a simple job on the beach in a restaurant or on a boat. I'm not worried about hurricanes or other natural occurrences.

Thank you for any details you can provide.

  1. This place wouldn't be bad, http://www.totalwallpapers.com/nature/wa...

    Otherwise,

Well I'm sure you could find a low population city by going on the outskirts or off a few miles, but I'd try some places in florida or california.  I've been to San Diego 4 times and it's insane, the water in florida is much warmer though, just too many hurricanes for my liking.

  2. come here, in Hawaii, the temp is 70-90 deg. , beautiful beaches, its a real layed back lifestyle , compared to the mainland, i think youll love it

  3. Then definetly San Fransico or Sandestin,Florida

  4. Melbourne Beach, Florida. Has everything your looking for. Perfect beach water (no jellyfish or lots of seaweed). Laid back people, most who only come down for the winter. Simple life defenetly.

Check into it. Somewhere near Gullhouse in Melbourne. Most private part of the beach there. No one for miles.
