Where is a good place to meet girls that like to chat?

I am kind of lonely at the moment because of my lack of girlfriend and would really like to meet girls to chat with, not date but ya know, chat and have fun with. but I have tryed online places and such and cant find anywhere good, could you suggest anywhere? Well it really depends on your age but some good places are the mall, movies, and park, for kinda like all ages!! but if you want like online try like myspace or facebook theres billions of people on them sites!!
