  1. During my last trip I came across a website called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com .

It has quite a large variety of hotels. You might wanna give it a try.

  2. The cheapest accommodation (by far) are the backpackers.  If you are looking for something a bit more up market though (but still cheap), I recommend you consider finding an apartment.  Short-term apartments are much cheaper than hotels, and give you the flexibility of having your own kitchen and amenities (something backpackers are lacking in).  Sites I've used to locate accommodation include totaltravel.com.au and goldcoastinformation.com.au.  You could also try wotif and lastminute.  Have a brilliant holiday.

  3. I live on the GoldCoast and there is hundreds of places to stay in all locations . Do you actually want Surfers Paradise or would you rather be at one of the other beach locations for example Broadbeach is very nice Burleigh a little out the way of the night life but still lovely. Along The  Broadwater Labrador on Marine Parade is super and handy Champelli Palms is quite good or The Grand Hotel if you are a  family and want an apartment  . Wotif.com have some great deals many of them are minimum of 3 nights. The Top tourist caravan park is in a great location for Cabins also The big 4 Treasure Island Tourist resort has Cabins and motel accommodation . There are several back packer hostels.
