It depends where you're going!  The area around Galway is beautiful as is the city itself.  Mayo is definitely worth visiting if you fancy a walk up Croagh Patrick.  There are some amazing areas of natural beauty.  And Guinness in it's natural state of course...

Donegal is a great place to visit as it has:

>Loads of great places to visit like Letterkenny (To do your shopping)

>Glenties (for the very popular Limelight a disco!!0

>Ballybofey and Stranorlar, the twin town for the BIG McElhinneys department store!!

>There are loads of other places too( i woz only naming a few!!)

>And of course for all the culture!

In some parts we still use Irish our own native language, We also have a great love of traditional music with fiddles, flutes, bouhran etc!!

And of course we all are great fans of Gaelic and Hurling!!

Oh yeah most ous us donegal people are nice!!

Hi there,

basically it will depend on how long you have to spend in Ireland. If you have say 2 weeks I would say the following are a must see:

Dublin, Galway and Cork. If you want something more relaxed and out of the way so to speak-Sligo and Donegal have fantastic scenery. Have a look at http://www.irishaccommodationguide.com for any accommodation needs. This site offers over 9000 properties in all parts of Ireland.

Galway, dublin, donegal and antrim coast. I am from ireland.

You can buy a great book at the tourist board on B&B's in Ireland.

We have it and every B&B has been fantastic, Big new House,  Lovely cooked breakfast!

There are tons of bed and breakfasts in Ireland.  Any tour book will have them listed.  You just have to call 1-2 days prior and you will get to stay.  They're really charming, but if I were you, make sure you stay in one that has an en suite (bathroom) instead of a shared lavatory.
