Where is a good place to vacation in the winter? Sandy beaches, clean water, hot weather...?

I end up going to Maui every year. I'm thinking Mexico or Carribean. Where do you like to go? I'm not looking for adventures, hiking, camping, sightseeing. I just want warm sand and clean accomadations. Ideas? U.S. or abroad.

I would suggest an all-inclusive resort in the Riviera Maya area of Mexico.  I've stayed at Aventura Spa Palace and El Dorado and both were amazing.  The beach on the ocean wasn't the best, but they had beaches around pools that were just as good.  The food was some of the best I've had.

At El Dorado we stayed in the Casitas and we had a full size bed on our patio.  From the patio, you step directly into the pool and have a swimup bar 30 feet from you.  It was as private or as social as you wanted it to be, and it was about have the price or cheaper than Maui.

Jamaica!!!  If you go to Mexico, go to a location on the Caribbean side, like Cancun.  The water is much more beautiful (turquoise).  I've been to Jamaica many times!  It's amazing!
