Where is a good placet o vacation in mexico at a decent price-cheap almost.?

Try Zihuatanejo, in Guerrero. It's an old touristy town that used to cater to the middle-class from Mexico City. It's not far from Ixtapa. It's on the Pacific Coast. We've stayed at the Hotel Irma, which is far from fancy, but decent and friendly, and a nice walk from downtown, which is a real downtown with more than the tourist traps you might expect. There are other places to stay there, too.
