  1. TRY THESE:-

    The Dukes Head

    42, The Vineyard, Richmond,

    The Marlborough

    46 Friars Stile Road, Richmond,

    The Angel and Crown

    5 Church Court, Richmond,

  2. I would recommend nandos, i know its not roast lunch, but it is very yummy!

  3. I lived right next to the Roebuck and Mick Jagger lived on the other side! Food is so-so. View is unbelievable. My favorite pub is the Sun-Inn but it is located closer to the richmond tube station. At the bottom of Richmond hill there are some great pubs but I can't remember  the names.

  4. Tobys

  5. I would recommend the Victoria at West Temple Sheen...

Very relaxed Gastro pub....very good food...bit pricey, but nice.

  6. Lovely restaurant in Holland Park not far away and loads of pubs too! Ate in one this summer, but can't remember name, but Holland Park area is great

  7. An excellent pub near Richmond Park is the Roebuck on Richmond Hill. You will walk past it as you exit the park to walk down into Richmond. The pub serves real ale and has the most amazing views of the Thames.

There is a comprehensive menu, but I have never eaten there, and the food does get mixed reviews.

I'd suggest get there early, enjoy the beer and the view while you suss out what other people are eating! If it is no good, move on down the hill.

Avoid eating in the pubs on the river, you can not move in them they are so crowded.
