Paradise Canyon is a lot of fun and awesome place to go

Theres camping, fishing, and of course swimming

Its peaceful and not overcrowded like the other lake & rivers.

The views are great , , , a definite place for romantic plans.

Outdoor: you could go camping at Lost Maples

Indoor and romantic, check out the town of Fredericksburg with all its little antique shops and bed and breakfast inns.

Kerrville and Boerne are also nice places to visit and are both less than an hour from S.A.

For romance Frederick's is the place.

It's got great food and beer and fabulous shops.

Make sure you stop at the church in the middle of town.  It's absolutely beautiful.  One of my best friends actually was married there.  Fredericksburg is known for its bread and breakfast inn's.

They actually have a booking site...i believe it's Gasthaus Schmidt.

It's been a while though.  check it out.

I really like Fredericksburg.  There is lots of shopping and dining in a quaint small town atmosphere.  There are many bed and breakfasts for rent where you can get a more homely stay.  Nearby there is Enchanted Rock where you can do some hiking and enjoy the outdoors.  Almost every weekend the city is putting on some kind of festival or concert for the tourists.
