I'm going out this Friday and need advice on a decent restaurant to go out to. We are on a student budget so it needs to be cheapish.

  1. In the Arcadian there's a Chinese restaurant called 'Cafe Soya' (don't be put off by the name if you're not vegetarian- it serves all the usual Chinese meaty stuff too..) Its a relatively small restaurant but the service is excellent and they're really friendly. Depending on whether or not you have 3 courses or just a starter/main course/desert, its fairly reasonably priced.

p.s. I would recommend the tofu in satay sauce or anything chicken! :-)

  2. BIRMINGHAM the place has so many to choose from.

    have a good day out.

  3. Have you tried the big wok. China town next to legs 11 around the corner in the ally way.buffet style.  VERY GOOD!!!!!!!!!

  4. If you are students, you could sign up to this website which gives you offers at restaurants in Brum - its www.studentbeans.com and look at  the Birmingham section. it gives you 2 for 1 meals and discounts and stuff which is good! You just print it out and take it with you. I think they do offers in O'neils and another place called La Tasca which is meant to be good and they are both around Broad Street which is probably near to where you will be going out. Hope that helps!

  5. me and my girlfriend ate at bank and at the malmaison restaurant !! both were excellent
