Where is a good site to find old boats for sale that need repair?

If you live in NC and are interested in boats you probably live close to lots of boat yards.  Check out the boatyards in your area and you might find just what you are looking for.  Talk to the people who work in the boatyard and they will have lots of inside information about boats.  Go to any marinas that are close by and get to know some of the people who live on their boats at the marina - they usually know what is available in the area.  Check the bulletin boards at marinas, boat yards, and marine stores.

There are numerous sites that list boats for sale.   Here are just a few of them, but I would go with local people and local information.  It really is not hard to find and buy an old boat that needs repair.  Best of luck and have fun fixing it up when you find it.
