Where is a good source of information about raising alpacas?

My husband and I are researching different types of livestock to raise. We were thinking about goats but a television commercial got us curious about alpacas. I've visited alpacainfo.com and alpaca.net but neither of them offer the information I am interested in. I'd like to know what type of environment they need. Shelter, food, care. Anyone with those answers or locations of where I can find them, please respond.
