  1. May is a good month. Not too hot, not too many tourists.

What about trying out the Basque Country in the North of Spain. This part of Spain has a unique culture different from the rest of the country.

If you like museums, culture and shopping I can recommend Bilbao or San Sebastian. Both places have lots to offer. I am originally from Sweden but have lived in Bilbao for the last 10 years. I have traveled a lot in Spain and I find that some typical tourist goals such as Madrid or Barcelona can be exhausting.

Bilbao and SanSebastian has it all but on a smaller and friendlier scale. The food is great here too.

  2. Anywhere. It is the ideal month for tourism. I suggest to go anywhere in Andalucía (Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada), it is the best moment to visit, not too hot.

    besos!

  3. Anywhere, in may España has a very good weather maybe a little bit cloudy and it is possible that could rain. Try to go to Sevilla and Jerez de la Frontera, close and nice cities, there you probably could smell the Azahar flower from the orange tree. You can also visit Granada and have a walk inside the Alhambra and enjoy thier gardens an fountains, its lovely in spring and has many oreange trees to, te city is even very beutifoul.

But be carefull with the beegars, in the south of spain they dont stop teasing you till you give them some coins!!
