Panama City - booming skyline and disorganized labour means that if you set up a construction business that actually meets deadlines, you could wipe out competition fast. Big money to be made there.

Definitely somewhere on the West coast, like Portland, because there is a lot of new development, which means trees to be cut down and homes to be built. Also, don't move to an over-urbanized area like los Angeles, because there is a declining development industry due to the fact that the entire city is already developed. Another good option is San Jose, where average income is quite high, or maybe minneapolis, where there is great education for your kids.
