I'm trying to find a venue in Glasgow city centre in the form of a function suite that isn't too large, that can hold around 50-70 people. I'm sure that some bars have function suites. I just need some recommendations.

  1. We loked for a place last year for my wife.

The Admiral looked good, but isn't available weekends so we ended up with the Brick on Bath Street and it was pretty good. She was allowed to bring in her own iPod loaded with what she wanted and they hooked it into the sound system for her.

There was also another that looked kinda funky (all nooks and crannies) over and almost next door to the Bon Accord near the Mitchell Library... but can't recall its name. Vines or something perhaps

  2. I can recommend The Admiral Bar. I have been to a few functions there and it's a good size, atmosphere etc. The function suite is downstairs and they have a regular pub upstairs. They also do food which is really nice. Also very handy location for other pubs and clubs. Hope you find somewhere suitable and have a great time.
