  1. I've got an extra wall charger for that gun.  Visit us at:

    http://www.OnTargetAirsoft.com

  2. If your battery capacity is 1100mah or higher I recommend either one of these:

    Smart Universal Charger

    http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/access...

    $30

    Universal Charger

    http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.ph...

    $35

I have the first one, It charges most of my packs in about an hour or so.  The only thing it lacks is a discharge cycle for ni-cad packs.  So you can run them dry, build a discharger if you have some electronic components lying around, or get a cheap discharger such as this one:

Pyramyd Air Lightbulb Battery Discharger For Mini Nicad and NiMH Receiver Packs

    http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/access...

    $7

If your battery is lower than 1100mah you can use one of these generic wall chargers

TSD 9 volt DC 500mAh battery charger with Mini male plug

    http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/access...

    $8

Sanyo 9 volt DC 500mAh battery charger with Large male plug

    http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/access...

    $8

To calculate your charge time, just take your battery capacity and divide the rate of charge - for example since these chargers are 500ma, divide it into your battery capacity of 2400mah (just a guess), and you get the hours needed to charge.

    2400mah/500ma=4.8h

it's easier to understand if you just look at the units, you have mah for the battery capacity, so to get the "h" in hours just have to get rid of the "ma" so mah/ma=h

Be careful, don't overcharge it for too long - if you are forgetful, or just want to charge it overnight w/o worries of overcharging just head over to your home depot they have this product for a mere $5, I use them all the time with my plain-old wall chargers - cheap peace of mind.

Intermatic Lamp & Appliance Timer TN111C

The only other issue with the generic wall chargers - the heat buildup in the pack!

I have an old PC power supply connected to a fan that cools off the batteries as they slow charge, too much heat it can fry the battery so keep an eye on it.  With my 250ma charger it's not an issue but I definitely use the fan with the 500ma ones.

    cheers
