Try Oscar's right inside the Waldorf Astoria. Or Pershing Square located at 90 E 42 Street just off Park - not to far away.

Inside Park Terrace (formerly Cafe St. Bart's) right across the street from the Waldorf on the corner of Park Avenue and 50th.  You can eat inside but I recommend the terrace.  You get a great view of Park avenue and some excellent people watching.

The Restaurant is a part of St. Bartholomew's Church which has a decidedly Goth feel and is the church where Dudley Moore's character married Liza Minelli's character in the movie Arthur.
