Where is a great accountant in South Yarra?

There was some confusion and abuse with my last question. I'm not looking for someone to do my taxes for me i can do that. I'm looking for someone that I can talk to about having an abn and how to do my tax. I don't have a business i just need an abn because i do contract work. Does centrelink have a section like this or maybe some government place i can go for answers in the city....please help and i would appreciate no rude or smart **** answers. you're wasting my time.

I don't know whether Centrelink people are very helpful when we are talking about Tax.

The Tax Office has their shopfront in the city, Casselden Place (corner of Lonsdale and Spring - from memory - it's a huge building, you won't miss it - take the train, get off at Parliament Station), above the Immigration Department. Maybe you want to pay them a visit. This will be a free service.

I know there is an H & R Block office in Prahran, across the road from the Housing Commission, on Commercial Road. They can also provide a cheap service. I am guessing they will tell you if what you are after is beyond the service they provide.

Yeah, I know a couple or so of accounting firms in South Yarra that maybe I should recommend... but they are really much of a muchness.

Go to Casselden Place first. Then take it from there.
