Ocean City NJ is cool,or washington DC. ummm, Niagra falls, canada, the finger lakes, albany, ocean city maryland is good too.

Go to Saranac lake and rent two canoes. Do the overnight camping bit.

I've also hiked the trails and mountains there, but you might want to start with day hikes.

Take a bird watching class at Cape May.

Im not sure where you are driving from so it would be hard to answer.. If you like shopping,aquariums and nice scenery, check Gatlinburg, Tenn.
