Depends on what part of the country you live in.

Where I live you can either go to a zoo and use their picnic benches, or go to a beautiful park about a half hour away and hope that some animals show up.  There are always squirrels and birds!

Bulbarow Hill in Dorset, you can see for miles on a nice day, today there were loads of paragliders up there, seeing who could fly the farthest distance

but you would be much safer

Depends on where you want to go. Logically its the local zoo for you. if you are planning on travelling and prepared to rough it out despite your handycap, you could go on a safari with people very close to you who'd help you.

camping! go to your local campground and hangout.

or go to the ocean or a lake. plenty there, too! eating lunch on a boat is plenty fun for a picnic.
