Where is a nice spot not far from DC I can take a man?

Hey. I'm dating this guy. I would like to take him to a nice, chill spot for the weekend. We are both 26.

I do not want to do VA or CHesapeake beach...

What else can we do? Driving no more then 3 hours away from DC...

  1. Drive out to Harper's Ferry - plenty of chill spots along the rivers edge. You can drive to Rehoboth Beach, DE and listen to the surf. Go to Sandy Pt. State Park on the Chesapake Bay. There is lots to offer within the DC area. Have fun!


  2. Go to Annapolis! Either make reservations at the Marriot and stay over, or just do a day trip. Go to Pussers and sit outside on Ego Alley and watch all of the boats pull in and out, shop in town, walk around, lovely area.
