Where is a restaurant that you can cook your own food?

i want to take my girlfriend to a restaurant like that in Houston so we can cook together.

The melting pot (im not sure if theres one in houstin but theres on in Alabama and california) Its like fondue you dip a piece of steak/vegi into the pot for a couple minutes you take it out then eat

the melting pot. It is a really cool restaurant, you don't really cook but it is fondue, and you cook that. It is romantic and fun. On westheimer.

Why don't you just cook together at home? or is it that you don't want to do the dishes hmmmmmm?

I know a great one.  It starts at the grocery store and ends in your kitchen.  That is the best place to cook together that I can think of.  There is no such thing as a restaurant that lets you cook your own food

they have a melting pot by where i live.

its fondue. but the meat you boil in the stuff./

Some Japanese and Sushi restaurants... Like you can make your meat on a hot rock... Its pretty cool...

I would go to your local park district/community center and ask around there

First go to Wal-Mart and buy a nice big teflon coated frying pan - about 14" across.

Then go to your local Residence Inn ( I know Houston has a few since I stayed at one a few years back - down near the college area).

Next decide together what you will be cooking - take the food to your room - they have full size kitchens - then you can eat and cuddle on the couch watching TV - almost like having your own place...

You need to check out each room - they sometimes only have stove top burners (no oven) so you need to ask if you're going to do it...

They have pots & pans and dishes - full size refrigerator - but their frying pan isn't the best - that's why I said buy one...

Your kitchen?  I don't know of any restaurants that let you cook your own food.

If you guys have a mongolian grill in Houston that would be good. The chefs let you pick all these meatsm and pita's and spices and everything and you can grill it on a big stone stove thing, really cool and good

Try your kitchen.  I never heard someone going out to a restaurant to cook themselves.  Kind of defeats the purpose of going out.

Take her to the Melting Pot.  It's very romantic.  You actually do cook your main course in the fondue pot, but you also get to relax and enjoy the whole experience too.  And if you end up going - get the S'mores fondue as dessert - it's the best!

You can do that at home. I only know of one restaurant that lets you cook your own food, it's called "Prime Quarter Steakhouse" but it's in Wisconsin.
