Where is a super cheap place to rent.reserve to throw a baby shower?

im planning a baby shower for a girlfriend of mine....its still a month away.....we went to reserve a pavillion in a forest perserve but they are pretty much books....does anyone else have any other ideas....

find out about the other park pavilion buildings if they are available. or do you know anyone in an apartment building or condo with a party room?

have you tried a church. they usually have rooms like little halls to reserve or like the ymc the neighboorhood sports place sometimes have rooms where they hold banquets or award for their teams.
