Where is a vw gli 2006 transmission dipstick?

I WANT TO CHECK THE OIL IN MY CAR? BUT I CANT FIND THE DIPSTICK AND THE OWNERS MANUEL DONT SAY NOTHING!!!

I beleive that you can find the oil dipstick on the passenger side of the motor close to the front of the motor just behind the air  duct and it should have a yellow top to help you find it . The transmisssion dipstick should be at the back of the motor and on the passenger side of the engine,it might have ared top on it.

I pretty sure that Volkswagen eliminated the trans dipstick for the regular consumer. Its either way down the back where you have to have a special tool to open it or it had been eliminated all together. Car manufactures know that the number one cause of transmission failure is the owners overfilling them. They don't want to eat the warranty on that. Plus you have to go to them (or another legit mechanic) to get it checked and serviced. In the next few years you most likely wont find transmission dipsticks anymore on any manufactures cars.
