It's near Hodgenville Kentucky. It's a national monument now.

Here is a link to to the website. I highly recommend it as a day trip. I took a day last summer and visited the birthplace first and then traveled north to the boyhood home in Indiana.  Remember eastern Kentucky is on Eastern time, so if you're coming from the west, like I was, adjust your estimates.
