if you are serious you need to look into at setup that has at least 400watts RMS

you need to stick with CEA-compliant brands- which means that the amps have been tested and produce or exceed the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion and the subs can handle their advertised RMS wattage also

onlinecarstereo.com. So many brands at very cheap prices. Usually shipping is free, and brands from boss audio to JL audio are there. How much power you should get is up to you, but I want to one day get up to Steve Meade's level with 20000watts. Good SPL can be found from subwoofers that RMS at and over 600w.
