Where is all the heroin going?

I'm wondering what the CIA is doing with all the opium and heroin that they got in Afghanistan. There doesn't seem to be needles everywere on the street in the US like there was in the 90s. So who is getting all that heroin?

Opium and Heroin is still the number one export in Afghanistan and is controlled by the Taliban which is still alive and well.
