Where is an embarrasing birthday place to take my guy friend?

For my birthday, my guy friend took me to Joe's Crabshack. It was horribly embarrassing! I would like to return his favor by taking him somewhere good. I live in Southern California. If you could provide details or personal experiences, that would be great too!
