He has a Broken Hand, he will be  out for 4-5 weeks

I don't know where Chance Bateman is.

If he is only having a 'rest' & not playing because it suits him this week I hope he breaks a leg next game he plays.  I have him in my fantasy team & he, along with that weakling Jonathan Brown not fronting today, are costing me points.

That's to be expected of an AFL player anyway - a very low tolerance to pain!

Depending on the severity Hodge it could be from 1 to 6 weeks.

I have not heard about Bateman either but what I do know of us High Flying Hawks at the moment he is probably trying to regain his spot and with Hodge injred I rekon you will see him next week.

Also check the Hawks website they will probably have an update.

Bateman was named on Thursday to play with Dew named as an emergency

Bateman was a late omission this is why Dew played

A torn hamstrings - I think Hodge is gone for 5 weeks at least

Chance Bateman is not injured he is just having a rest.

Luke Hodge will probably be out for about thrre weeks at this stage. we will no for sure when he gets it checked out in the next few days.

I am pretty sure he is playing in the VFL, would be hard to break into that hawthorn side at present, don't you think.

Hodge looks like he's torn that hamstring so it will be 4-6 weeks, most clubs like to err on the side of caution with hammys, if it feels right, they give it one more week, your hawks done well today, blew the pies away when it counted.

Luke Hodge is my favourite hawks player tied with Buddy Franklin and its a shame to see him injured today... i guess it was lucky i left him on the bench on my dream team... but hope its only a 1-3 weeks out with that hammy... i havnt heard anything about bateman but i hope he can make the game next week and get back into the hawks lineup ASAP... it was nice to have stuart dew in the team today replacing bateman though!
