The sensor should be located to the front of the engine block to the right of the oil filter. It's only held in by one bolt and is a quick replacement. You'll need to be under the vehicle for this and it would help to jack the car up a bit to better move about. Remember to use jack stands as a fall may not kill you but will smoosh you pretty good. Usual cause is not running or jerkyness if running or from a cold start it will run for a few minutes then cut off. Crank it all you want it won't turn on. When it finally does it will only run for a bit. I suggest prior to installing a new sensor (electric parts cannot be returned) when the car dies pull a spark plug. Ground the housing to the car and crank the engine. If you have spark your CPS is fine so start looking at fuel pumps! If you don't have spark do the irish jig because your fix is simple!
