Cypress trees grow in many areas of the worlds swamps and wet lands. South-east Australia the Monterey or Radiata Pine (Pinus radiata) is the choice of state forest nurseries.

We have them all over the place here in northwest Florida...Cypress is not actually a pine and lasts alot longer than pine... The cypress is sloser to the sequoia redwood family than any other species..
