My aunt survived the Holocaust.She played in Laurence Rees documentary-The n**i's:A warning from History. Desperately

trying to find her;would be ninty,from Lodz, Poland

Also, if you go to, http://www.jewishgen.org and check its "Family Finder", you will find 2 people researching the surname FRENKIEL (Lodz).  

You may have to get a researcher number to view the info., but it is free.  Neither person has an email address listed, but you can click on the link and send them a message via the website itself.  One of the people researching lives in Israel.

Also, you might try and post your query to the JewishGen Discussion Group and see if anyone there would be familiar with her.  The group is associated with the site cited above and I think you can access it via "Newsgroups" where it is called - soc.genealogy.jewish

The documentary was done in Prague, Czech Republic 10 years ago. Last year, a new book came out by Laurence Rees and she's a part of it. The book is called "Their Darkest Hour: People Tested to the Extreme in WWII" and was released in Sept 2007 by Ebury Press, a European division of Random House. I would suggest contacting the publisher to see if they will pass a letter along from you to your aunt.
