  1. Not in Minnesota, very cold winters here, lots of snow too...

check out Montreal, they're getting mad about the record snowfall:  http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080312/wl_...

Global warming happens most in people's minds.  ;-)

You never hear about record heat in the Sahara do you, about new records there...?  That would make sense wouldn't it?

Watch the movie Ice Age, yes the cartoon.  What do you think melted all the ice back then...?

Also, has anyone thought or pondered:  Maybe glaciers aren't the norm...  Maybe they are still parts of the last ice age...    Since no one, repeat, NO ONE, can tell us what the 'perfect' temperature is, I'm left to wonder if the glaciers aren't the abnormality...

    Think.

  2. it will affect ALL OF US in some ways when it destroys area to grow food on and many countries start to buy food from other countries will make prices up with time so the poor can buy less food.

theres much more but too much to explain here

  3. It's most obvious at glaciers. Glacier National Park in the US will soon be without any. Greenland is loosing huge amounts, as are the Alps. The Arctic and Antarctic ice-sheets are rapidly retreating. Kilimanjaro will soon lose [the last?] glacier in Africa.

  4. In the big cities especially Philadelphia. It is known as the smoke city.

  5. The higher latitudes of the northern hemisphere (far far away from any imagined urban heat island effect).

Here's a great article that shows the temperature trends at different latitudes:

  6. the poles

  7. Global Warming happens mostly on Planet Earth. Any local variations are called 'weather'.

  8. I don't know, my friend lives in Wisconsin and she is watching her lake shrink yearly.

  9. The coldest places warm up the fastest and most noticeably. The poles experienced the greatest increase in temperature.

In the South Pole, the temperature at the edges is so high that the krill shrimp population dropped drastically and some species of penguins have lost half their population. The krill tend to grow under floating ice.

The whale and other fish depend on Krill to survive. They will be extinct in a few years.

  10. Mars is receiving more global warming than us. Hmmm? I thought global warming was because of CO2? Its not. Its just the sun. The sun has warm cycles and cold cycles. When we enter a warm cycle, they say it is global warming. When we enter a cool cycle, they call it global cooling. Its all just scientists trying to receive more federal money to study a cause that they made up.

  11. The data shows that it's the Arctic.

  12. Probably in some desert some where

  13. but...it's GLOBAL warming...

    i think everywhere's where it's happening.

most, maybe ice caps or desserts.

  14. In the marginal areas .

    On the edges

where it is too cold or too hot already ,the biggest differences will be seen.

  15. At Al Gores Mansion!
