deep sea take a boat out of seal beach, CA. or right there in the catalina express, port.

Look in the L.B. Press Telegram, news paper in the sport section look up fishing....

Belmont shore - good halibut action. didn't see many surf perch there this year. croakers are always around though.

72nd jetty (all the way down ocean blvd) - halibut, various surf perch, croaker, jack smelt, and mackerel Occasionally, you'll catch  corbina, spotted sea bass, and sculpin.
