  1. Craigslist.com - Paris has ads for temporary rentals and most of them have pictures of the place and how many people it can accommodate, descriptions of the immediate neighborhood, and what is located in the area. Some are placed by individuals, others by companies who carry many rentals.

  2. Nah, there's no point renting an apartment if you are going for a short time. The best thing is to stay at hostels. You'll meet loads of other travelers and  it's so much fun. Look into hostelworld or hostelbookers.com! I'm sure you'll find some great deals.

Have fun in Paris. I absolutly loved it.

  3. I'm not sure where you could stay, but AVOID THIS COUPLE: Vincent and Anna Chagnon (she sometimes goes by Anna Desfusains) which have this apartment near the Louvre which they rent out on their website "Paris Apartments Louvre" (http://www.parisapartmentslouvre.com/lou...

We had a TERRIBLE time with them.  They didn't give us their contact number and their phones didn't work for outside numbers.  They didn't have the beds made up when we arrived and the sheets they gave us didn't fit.  We had to ask a neighborhood florist to use her phone to call them to ask for sheets.  She dialed them for us and explained our situation to them in French.  He yelled at her so rudely that she held the phone away from her ear that we could hear him.  We went to take a shower and twice, there was no hot water. Then they said they'd do our laundry (tho' it said that they had laundry facilities, they didn't trust guests to use their machines properly).  When we put the laundry in the corner, they took a day to do them, and another to give them back to us. When it came time to check out, they told us they'd meet us at the apartment to give us our deposit so we spent our last Paris morning waiting for them.  They didn't show, and we had to hound them from back home, with help from the Perfect Places agency to get our deposit back.  Thank God for them.  I think they have since dropped the Chagnons from their site.  If they haven't,  they should!

  4. There are such things called Youth Hostels.

They are the least expensive way to get a roof over your head. They are a little dirtier, less formal, and in my opinion fun, than your average hotel.

It's basically a place much like a dorm, maybe a little more open. Everything is communal basically and it's more for the type of people who don't care so much about luxury and really just want to experience the country they are in. It really depends upon your personalities.

There are pro's and con's to them. I have included a website with all the information. If you are interested I'm sure it's incredibly easy to find one. If you type in 'hostel in Paris, France' I'm sure you'll get tons of good websites.

If you are truly interested, make sure to run it by the members of your group!!

If the hostels don't work out for you. i would suggest a 2 star hotel in Paris with a GREAT LOCATION. That's what I did. Paris is so beautiful you're not going to stay in the hotel all day, you're going to be out enjoying yourself!! The 2 star hotels are very small, birdcages haha, but very afforadable and it does the job.

Have a great time in Paris !!

    Hope I've helped youuuuu.
