Where is good to eat/drink/experience in London??

Question

Hello, myself and my partner are going to London tomorrow night where is good to eat/drink in an evening, we are looking for somewhere relaxed and romantic, very nice food but we don't like posh, want to feel comfortable. Any ideas? also can you suggest anything that we can do in the afternoon for a few hours or shows to see in the evening, we will be getting there about 3pm ish and have the afternoon/evening to fill.

Hope I'm not too late, but wanted to say that Shamper is a great place for a drink and meal - not expensive with a great atmosphere

Sarastro,126 Drury Lane has romantic  opera box style balconies in its restaurant. It is a mediterrean which has lovely fish dishes. Average price about £25 per head. Telephone number 02078360101.

When you get to London get a one day travel card, this will be £5.90. You can then use the buses, tubes, trams and trains to travel everywhere.

Look around the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. Try a trip to Harrods, look around Covent Garden. Walk along the river, there is always plenty to see.

I was just in a London a few weeks ago and ate at an amazing place called PASHA. You must get reservations and while it's a trendy place the service was amazing and I did not find it posh or s****..
