Where is good to go on a weekend break in December?

My feller has said he wants to take me away for my birthday in december as it is a big 1! but i have to choose where and i really dont no where i would like to go there is so many places i would like to go to! HELP!

If you like to ski and want a cheap vacation try Maine (Sunday River).

I went last year and the plane ticket, rent a car and hotel were allot cheaper then all the big ski resorts in Co/Utah. I saved over $600.00. I took my wife and 2 kids.

The people were very nice and went out of there way to help you. I will go back this year.

You could try somewhere in Europe like Luxembourg City, Lille in France or Volkenburg in The Netherlands, all renowned for their Christmas markets and Christingle activities, so I am thinking it would be very romantic in one of these lesser-known but beautiful cities at this special time of year.  

For a longer-distance trip how about St Petersburg in Russia, or a weekend in Malta if you want some winter sun.

You give no indication of your budget, so it is hard to know where to suggest, but wherever you do choose I hope you have a great time!

You don't say where you live... but If it's big one,  why not go to NYC and see a couple of shows. Or you could go to Chicago and hit the Blue's Bar scene. They will all be decorated for the holidays so that will be beautiful. Remember the closer you travel to the holidays the busier places will be... so make reservations early.

You could always hop a plane and take a weekend junket to Jamaica or Bahamas to soak up some of the warmth and get some sunshine. Or try a 4 day cruise to somewhere warm.... Cancun/Cozumel, etc

go to the philippines and go to boracay beach it is a tourist spot because it is so nice☺☻☺♥
