The only place I really see is Leeds but wondered if there was anywhere a bit "prettier". Needs to have hotels there. Thanks in advance for all help.

  1. WAKEFIELD!

waterton park hotel. i adoreeeeee their milkshakes :]

anyway, it's quite pretty. it has a towny atmosphere with the cathedral and bullring, but it's really nice, i love it :]

  2. Some of the smaller towns/villages to the north and east of Leeds are very pretty, if that's your bag. Somewhere like Knaresborough may appeal to you.

  3. Brighouse and Rastrick has lovely canals and quiet northern villages

  4. Harrogate. not exactly halfway, but has a lot of hotels and is undeniably 'prettier'.
