  1. i went to escana with my husband and two children the resort was spotless and the weather was brilliant the beach is lovely and you feel very safe there is a mix of people families and couples if you go there you will love it p.s theres hardly any cockroaches as there is small lizards running around but they just run when you go near them good luck with your holiday

  2. It depends on what you like doing... i´m from argentina, but i´ve been to ibiza and know all the beaches very well.

If you enjoy snorkeling the beach you must visit is CALA BASSA.  If you like watching an awesome sunset, then you go to CALA CONTE.

If you just like hanging out on the beach then playa den bossa is your must...

Keep in mind that most beaches in ibiza are called "calas" instead of "playas".  The mediterranean sea shore is pretty rocky, so these limited portions of sand (like tiny beaches) are called calas.

Playa den bossa, as you see is called "playa" cause this one is long and has some restaurants and bars right on the beach.

Another must is CALA D´hort from which you have and amazing view of es vedrá, a mountain that sticks out of the sea, like 2 miles away from the shore...

You should stay in Ibiza city, in some "pension" hotel or hostel that has a view of dalt villa!! an amazing ancient city that has a big wall all around.

    good luck!

  3. Try Porrig beach it off the main rd from San An to Ibiza Town.  I was there in June and I stayed 3 kms from Ibiza Town in this little place it was nice and quiet and close enough to town.

  4. For me, the best part of the island is the north. All of it. Much more beautiful than the south, which is more touristic. Try Benirrás, close to Sant Joan. It is a hippie beach. Every Sunday afternoon people meet there at the sunset and organise a hippie party to say goodbye to the sun. After the sunset, the party goes on all night long. It is great!! I would say it is one of the few places that still remains sauvage, an real, just as the island was before.

    Enjoy!
