And what are her comments about being a patsy for one of the worst enacted frauds ( next to WMDS and Iraqis role in 9/11) ever perpetrated on the free world by the US.

  1. It was a public relations campaign, constructed by the Bush administration many times. They made her and the people who "rescued her" a hero. It was a feel good story so that the people can support the war.


  2. She has said many times, and testified to Congress, that the story originally put about by the American authorities was a downright lie. She said that as far as she remembered, her injuries came from a car crash and she was never ill-treated in the Iraqi hospital, let alone assaulted or tortured.

    I don't think she could have made it any clearer. Now I would imagine she is trying to get on with her life, which she is absolutely entitled to do.
