  1. Peru of course

  2. Lake Titicaca borders both Peru and Bolivia. It is the largest lake in South America. Isla Del Sol (on the Bolivian side) is the largest island in the lake and was inhabited by the Incas, many Incan ruins exist on the island so what you heard might have some truth to it.

  3. It is located on the border between Peru and Boliva. On Peru's side, it's in the department of Puno and it has many islands inside. This lake is the highest lake you can sail in the world. The first Inca of the empire, Manco Capac, came from within its waters sent by the god Inti (or sun) and walked to Cuzco where he settled and started the Empire. I have never heard that the Incas casted their gold there. Manco Capac and his wife came from its waters but never lived in Puno (near the lake), they went to Cuzco. However, most of the gold mines in Peru are in Puno so there must be some truth in this gold casting legend.

  4. It's between the south of Peru and Northwest of Bolivia. It's the biggest lake in South America...good luck
