Where is little Italy in NYC?

Whats the best and fastest way to learn Italian? Classroom? Cd-Rom At home ? A Book? Italy itself?

    Little Italy is located in lower Manhattan and is easily accessible by subway, bus or car.

    From the East Side: Take the 6 subway downtown to the Spring Street station. Walk East 2 blocks to Mulberry Street. OR Take the M103 bus on Lexington Avenue down to Grand Street and walk West 3 blocks to Mulberry Street.

    From the West Side: Take the N or R subways downtown to the Prince Street station. Walk East 3 blocks to Mulberry Street. OR Take the F or V subways downtown to the Broadway/Lafayette station and walk East 4 blocks to Mulberry Street and then walk south.

      

      

    From New Jersey: Take the PATH train to 14th Street and transfer to the F or F subway going downtown. Take subway to the Broadway/Lafayette station and walk East 4 blocks to Mulberry Street and then walk south. By Car: Take Holland Tunnel to Canal Street. Drive East on Canal Street to Mulberry Street. From Port Authority, walk east on 42nd St. 1 block and take the N or R subway (see West Side directions above). From Penn Station, walk east 2 blocks along 34th St. & follow directions from Long Island below.

      

    From Westchester: Take MetroNorth train into Grand Central Station. Follow directions above for East Side. By Car: Take Henry Hudson Parkway to West Side Highway to Canal Street. Drive East on Canal Street to Mulberry Street.

      

    From Long Island: Take LIRR into Penn Station. Walk to 34th Street & 6th Avenue to take N or R subway OR F or V subway downtown. Follow directions above for West Side. By Car: Take Queensboro Bridge to 2nd Avenue. Drive South on 2nd Avenue to Houston Street. Take Chrystie Street to Canal Street. Drive West on Canal Street to Mulberry Street.
