  1. I agree with Martox as I live in Milan! It's located in the center of the northern part of the "boot," by the way. It's in an area called Lombardia.

  2. MIlano is Italys second biggest cities and also one of the biggest industrial cities in Europe.

It is located in the region of Lombardia (Northern Italy) and is the capital of that region. It borders Switzerland.

Its geographical location is 45.469640 Latitude, 9.179594 Longitude.

As you can see below, I have provided you with a few links to help you answer anymore questions you have about Milano.

    Have a great day,

  3. Northern part of Italy. Big city; you can't miss it...

  4. its a beutiful big city in the northern part of italy! if u go you'll absolutely love it

  5. To the right of Turin and to the left of Verona and North of Genoa and my advise to you is to rather go left or right/ north or south. Either of the cities mentioned are way better than Milan

  6. I can suggest you where Milan is located (Northern Italy) but I'm not agree with previous answerers recommending you to visit this big town (1,3 millions of people - the 2nd largest town in Italy after Rome). There are tons of better spots worthy with a visit here in Italy.

Over there you'll be finished in one day (The Duomo, The Last Supper, the Scala and Castello Sforzesco, Pinacoteca di Brera and ....expensive shopping.) then ...over....!!

It's a too frenetic town, absolutely different from all the other Italian cities. I'm desperate when I'm obliged to go there for my job's reasons...!!

  7. Why that answer? Is it only for information or for a voyage? If it's for geographic information others have answered. For voyage that's depending from what you're gonna go for. My advise is that you'll go for arts and monuments, if you can find a lot of, and over the sites that answerers gave you, I recommend a visit to the MUSEO della SCIENZA e TECNICA, where you can find a large Leonardo da Vinci's section. The Basilica of S.AMBROGIO and the two Archeological Museums. Piazza dei MERCANTI near the Duomo, The COLUMNS of S.LORENZO, the CA' GRANDA university, the S.MARIA delle GRAZIE near the LAST SUPPER, remember that the BRERA Picture Gallery is one of the biggest in the world, inside the Duomo the greatness of the space, the large and high windows with illustrated stories of old and new testament, and outside and under it, hundreds and hunderds of statues. To see also the MILAN CEMETERY, it is perhaps the only cemetery in the world so rich in works of famous italian sculptures, it is included in the tourist tour. In the CASTELLO SFORZESCO the Michelangelo's unfinished Pietà, the Egyptian museum,  the markets and the flea markets of the NAVIGLI (canals), a great Leonardo's work to reach Milano by boats, and along the Navigli some little and tipical restaurants where you can eat. Last but not least, the GALLERIA near the Duomo that is the heart of the city, via Manzoni, via Montenapoleone and streets near them, you'll find the most important 'griffes ' of the italian fashion and beauty. Ciao.

    I'm MILANESE.

  8. It is in the hip of the boot.
