Where is most of our money going when we buy gas and how is it being used?

I seriously do not think that it all goes to Bush's pocket, because the businesses that sell it are privately owned.

Most of the money is going to the oil producers.  Then number 2 on the list is the gov't, because between federal, state and local taxes, it's quite likely in excess of 50 centers per gallon is going to taxes.

If you mean what country, most of our crude oil comes from Canada and Mexico (not the terrorist).
