Where is my adjustment lever on my camcorder?

I have a problem w/ my camcorder and in the manual it says to use my adjustment lever to adjust the lens, but I don't know where the adjustment lever is!-

we dont know what kind of camcorder you are asking about?  please be specific, there are hundreds of different kinds!

your generic anwser is, look by the front of the lens and select auto or manual.
