Question:

Where is my default graphics card located?

I'm assuming my computer has a graphics card in it, because i can play video games such as World of Warcraft (card not that good), But when i open the computer up, i'm un able to locate the graphics card.

I have not added one after purchase.

  1. Well your not telling us much. Desktop's are super easy to find take out and upgrade. Laptops are a different story you got to take the whole thing apart to get at it. There's utube videos on how to. Just google your make and model.


  2. Most of the computers in the last 10 years or so have integrated video cards. That means they are built into the motherboard. Most of the time they are adequate for most applications. Depending on how graphic intense your game is, will guide you on adding a new graphics card. If your computer is more than a year old, watch which card you purchase, and make sure it is compatible with your computer and operating system. wish you well.
