Where is my invite button for others to join I do not see it in the upper righthand corner, I am an owner?

Since you are already a member of your group, when you are signed-in anywhere on Yahoo.com and go to your group site,  you will not see the blue "Join This Group" button.  Try this so you can see what I'm talking about:

Sign out of your group.  Then go to your group site without signing back in there or anywhere else on Yahoo.com.  You will then see the button.  

If you mean the "Invite" feature where you send invites to people via email, look on the left side of group home page right above "Management".
