Where is my o2 sensor?

i have a 1995 ford taurus, i think i see my o2 sensor but im not sure, is it under the engine screwed into a pipe? if not where is it

Actually there are four, two ahead of the catalyst and two aft.  It uses readings from both to determine how well fuel is being burned.

On a 1995 its OBD 1 system and has an O2 sensor just ahead of the catalytic converter, vehicles made after 1996 have O2 sensors behind the cat also.

Assuming it has a V6 engine it will have 2 of them, one screwed into each exhaust head pipe just before it enters the catalytic converters\.
