Where is my station...it has disappeared!?

I lost my internet connection for a few minutes and now my station is not there!! Looks like I can create a new station, but I want my old one back!

uninstall that yahoo messenger that you have now(yahoo did an update to their messenger) and re-install the original version where you had your station.

go to start, control panel, add/remove. then scroll down the list until you see yahoo messenger, highlight it, move to the right and remove it.

then go to the internet and download yahoo messenger 7.0 (or 7.1). your station should come back.   hope this helps, good luck

I had the same problem, and wrote to Yahoo! Help. They tell me that it is transitory.

And yes. Simply, before receiving the response, my station appeared!

Yahoo! LAUNCHcast should be available at the bottom of the window when you start the new 8.0 version of Yahoo! Messenger. If you do not see your LAUNCHcast controls or information when you start Messenger, or if the LAUNCHcast window comes up blank, try the following:

   1. Click the down arrow at the right side of the LAUNCHcast tab. Click “Close.”

   2. Now, click the green "Plug Ins" button, below your friends list. (In Messenger 8.0, services like LAUNCHcast are managed with plug-ins you can add and remove at your discretion.)

   3. Click the "My Plug-ins" tab and locate Yahoo! Music LAUNCHcast. Click the “Start” button.

If this does not bring up LAUNCHcast normally, try exiting and closing Yahoo! Messenger completely, then restarting.
