  1. I read today on the news that they are having problems with the stimulus checks being sent to the right place, I would call the IRS and ask them where it is, My friend is having the same problem!

  2. there is a "where's my stimulus rebate" link on the IRS website. you just enter your social and the number of dependents you claimed and the answer will pop out :)

    www.irs.gov

  3. usually 4 or 5 days later.

  4. Are you sure that you qualify for the rebate.  Have you check IRS website www.irs.gov "wheres my stimulus" and have you use the stimulus calculator to find out if you qualify and how much you qualify for and when to expect the rebate?

    www.irs.gov.

  5. As a rule, I am very careful to be shallow and conventional where depth and originality are wasted.  --Lucy Maud Montgomery 1874-1942 Canadian, Novelist

  6. It's should've, not should of.

  7. A lot of people have thought they were getting direct deposit but for whatever reason aren't, so are assuming they'll get it earlier than they really are.  For example, if you had a tax prep place do your return and had your fees taken out of your refund, you aren’t eligible for direct deposit.

Check your bank statement from when the original refund came - if it says "US Treasury" you should be OK for direct deposit as long as that account is still open, and you didn’t split your refund into multiple accounts. Otherwise, you’ll get a paper check

Since the first round of direct deposits is done, it sounds likely that you'll be getting a paper check.  With a ss# ending in 92, it should be mailed on July 11 if you filed in time for your return to be PROCESSED by 4/15.

  8. Take your 2007 federal return and go to the rebate calculator tool on the IRS website.  That will tell you if you are getting a rebate at all.
